Phi Lambda Sigma application (P-2,3): PLS is a leadership organization designed to recognize students for their outstanding leadership skills and promote leadership throughout the School of Pharmacy. The members of PLS are selected by a group of their own peers, a type of recognition that is most admirable. It is a honor to be selected to join Phi Lambda Sigma, and we want to encourage anyone with great leadership qualities to read the attached information and fill out the application, returning it to Ashlee Weitzman (mailbox 911) by November 2nd at 1:00pm. If you have any questions, you may contact Ashlee Weitzman at aweitzman@sole.wvu.edu

ASHP Meeting ( P-1,2,3,4): ASHP will be having a meeting at noon on Monday Oct. 22. Dr. Justin Hare will be there to discuss applying for a residency program, the match, and PPS. Anyone who would still like to join, but hasn't completed the form or paid dues may do so at this meeting.

LKS Magical Night of Giving (P-1,2,3,4): LKS is selling tickets for the Magical Night of Giving which will be held on Nov. 18 at the Morgantown Mall. The tickets are $5 and will allow you to shop from 6-9. There will be special sales and several drawings. All proceeds will go to the Appalachian Outreach program.

LKS will also start collecting donations for the Appalachian Outreach program on Thursday, October 18th. We need personal hygiene items (soap, shampoo, lotion, shaving cream, razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, hairbrushes, mouthwash, denture cleanser and adhesive). A box for the donations will be placed on the bench in the School of Pharmacy Hallway. Remember $5 worth of donations count as 1 hour of community service. Any questions about the Magical Night of Giving or the Appalachian Outreach program can be emailed to Malinda Miihlbach mmiihlbach@sole.wvu.edu or Maria Miller mmiller@sole.wvu.edu
