Society News (P-1,2,3,4): Congratulations to:
P-1 Melissa Pablic became engaged this past weekend to Jared Newman, a WVU criminology major, Class of 2010, from Marshall Co. An Oct, 2011, wedding is being planned.

NCPA Meeting (P-1,2,3): NCPA will have its second general meeting on Oct. 14th at noon in room 3084. 

SSHP Meeting (P-1,2,3): SSHP's next general meeting will be Monday October 12th at 12pm in Room 1901. Justin Hare will be discussing residencies and what to expect at the Mid-year meeting.

ASP/LKS Pharmacy Month Speaker (P-1,2,3): ASP and LKS will be co-sponsoring a speaker on Thursday Oct. 15th. In accordance with pharmacy month and breast cancer awareness month, Dr. Michael Newton will be giving a presentation on breast cancer at noon in Room 1901. Lunch will be provided. (A sign-up sheet will be passed around classes early next week. Please sign-up if you plan to attend so we know how much food to purchase.)

PLS Applications Due (P-1,2,3): Just a reminder, the Phi Lambda Sigma applications are due this week. If you would like to apply to be a member of PLS please turn the application in to the PLS mailbox in the School of Pharmacy office on the fifth floor by noon on Friday, October 9th.

Student Health Taking Emergency Cases Only Oct. 12 : On Monday, Oct. 12, Student Health will not be scheduling appointments, but will be open for absolute emergencies from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Student Health employees will be attending the Mid Atlantic College Health Association meeting at the Waterfront Place Hotel on Oct. 11 and 12.
