Student Lunch Program (P-1,2,3,4): All SOP students are invited to have lunch and attend a presentation at noon on Monday, Oct. 26 by Rite Aid CEO Mary Sammons in room 1901. This is a rare opportunity to meet and hear from a major U.S. retail pharmacy President and CEO and all students are encouraged to attend.

Trunk or Treat (P-1,2,3,4): ASP Operation Diabetes will be participating at Trunk or Treat on October 26th at the WVU Coliseum. An exact time for the event has not yet been set, but will let volunteers know as soon as possible. If you do not wish to volunteer for the event, you can donate at least $5 of candy for one hour of community service. Sign-ups sheets will be passed around in class; however, if you missed the sign-ups and wish to help you can e-mail Amanda Carpenter at acarpenter1@sole.wvu.edu. Candy donations will be collected on Monday (10/26) at noon in front of the Okey Patteson auditorium. Donations may be turned in to Amanda before that.  Also feel free to e-mail her if you have any questions.

LKS Portfolios (P-1,2,3,4): LKS is selling porfolios!  They are padded, black folders with the WVU School of Pharmacy logo embossed on the front.  The inside includes multiple pockets, a notepad of paper, and a pen/pencil holder.  These are great assets when attending professional meetings, interviews, or conventions.  If you are interested, the cost of each portfolio is $15.  Checks can be made payable to LKS.  Please see Dr. Scott or contact Ashley Douglas (adouglas@sole.wvu.edu) for more information.
