POSITION SUMMARY: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and non-direct patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician. The LPN utilizes the Collaborative Practice Model to render nursing care in accordance with Standards of Care, Standards of Practice, Physician Treatment Plan, and the Professional Code of Ethics.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1.

Current West Virginia as a Licensed Practical Nurse required.

EXPERIENCE:

1.

On the job experience necessary (approximately ___ weeks of orientation)  in order to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of office structure standards, and to demonstrate minimal job competency. 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

1.

Prior physician office experience preferred.
