About Us

The West Virginia Collaborative Health Outcomes Research of Therapies and Services (WV CoHORTS) Center has been established to build research infrastructure and increase capacity for health services and health outcomes research at West Virginia University.  The purpose of the center is to create a data repository of various state and federal data for the conduct of research related to access, cost, quality, and outcomes of health services and treatments in West Virginia; develop collaborative relationships that bring together health services researchers; and establish a mentoring program for junior faculty to become more competitive for federally funded grants in health services and health outcomes research.
