These essays were produced by the Initiative's education director. In the context of these essays, as in all work of the West Virginia Initiative for Innate Health , the word "principle" is defined as it would be in science, as a "fundamental truth, law or motive force." Mind refers to formless universal energy. Thought refers to the capacity to create form from formless energy. Consciousness refers to the awareness both of the form created, and of the fact of its creation. The principles in this sense refer to the way in which each person's thinking creates and defines each person's unique experience, why thought-created experience appears real and external, and how experience changes naturally as thinking changes.
