Neuroscience research at West Virginia University is organized around interdisciplinary approaches to thematic focus areas. We have strong programs in sensory, cognitive, and behavioral neuroscience, along with studies of cellular responses to injury, neuroendo-crinology, and autonomic control of feeding and respiration. Coordination of our research efforts through the Center has built a unique level of camaraderie and cooperation across basic and clinical neuroscience departments at the Health Sciences campus and across the University. Our faculty provide teaching and training for the Neuroscience Graduate Program.
