  • Define stigmas including the types, negative impact on individuals, and how to cope
  • Explain who is or can be affected and why
  • Discuss stigmas which are personal and coming from family or self and ways to manage them
  • Describe how individuals in the IMPACT program may experience stigma
  • Describe how to move forward if you are experiencing stigma
  • Differentiate Stigma vs. Discrimination
  • Identify how to challenge stigma
  • Identify individuals who have experienced stigma and how to help
  • Identify tools and resources to provide advocacy for others
  • Provide services to individuals without increasing stigma
  • Discuss how to Identify if one is experiencing stigma and how to combat it
