World-renowned philosopher, cognitive scientist to visit WVU

Daniel Dennett

The Department of Philosophy will host Daniel Dennett as he presents "How, When and Why Can We Trust Our Brains?" from 4-5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, in G-20 Ming Hsieh Hall. 

Dennett is respected for his research on the philosophy of mind, philosophy of science and philosophy of biology, particularly as those fields relate to evolutionary biology and cognitive science.

All faculty, students and staff are invited to attend this special public lecture.
