Rural Housing

The West Virginia University Institute for Community and Rural Health provides housing in communities where health sciences students conduct rural rotations. Non-West Virginia University students or their programs are charged a fee per week for utilization of the housing.

Housing requests are approved on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are looking for places that consistently have space available, consider requesting in Lewisburg, Montgomery, Welch, Wheeling, Keyser, or Petersburg. We would love to approve housing in those locations!

We are now leasing a 4 bed / 2 bath house in Princeton that is ready for students.
