A doggone good time at the WVU Medicine Children's Kids Fair; photo gallery available
WVU Medicine Children’s held its 20th annual Kids Fair on Saturday, April 7, at the Morgantown Mall, with thousands of visitors helping to make it fun.
The event focused on helping kids get on track now to make healthy choices for a lifetime of good health. This year’s fair was themed “Build a Healthy You.” A photo gallery of the day's events is available on CONNECT.
Many of the fair’s 56 exhibitors, in a kid-friendly way, taught hildren daily health habits. Puppets demonstrated how to properly brush and floss. Kids learned how to make smart, nutritious food choices. And they were encouraged to get moving and stay active.
Kids learned about the dangers of tobacco use, as well as how to be good stewards of the environment and their community. And many exhibitors showcased safety practices.
