An opportunity to connect with West Virginia

Message sent on Behalf of Clay B. Marsh, VP and Executive Dean WVU Health Sciences

Attend the Try This! Conference June 3-4

WVU’s mission to improve the health of all West Virginians is at the heart of everything we do at the Health Sciences Center. Thousands of others across our state share this goal.

I’m planning to meet with many of them  at the Try This West Virginia conference, being held June 3-4 on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan College. I’d like to invite you to join me there if you can.

The conference is aimed at a wide audience, including health professionals, educators, students, and community activists, There’s even a youth track for teenagers.

There will be up to 40 breakout sessions on topics from farmers markets and school gardens to bicycling and running programs to school-based health centers and parks. All the workshop leaders are West Virginians making real changes in their communities and in the lives of people!

Early (and discounted) registration ends April 20. Overnight lodging on campus is available. See more at: http://trythiswv.com/conference/
