Applications being accepted for WVU Medicine Leadership Scholarships

The WVU Medicine Leadership Scholarship Program will award a one-time $1,000 scholarship to three incoming freshmen at any college or university. The program is open to youth of current, non-faculty WVU Medicine employees. Employee must be free of performance discipline.

To qualify, the student must be enrolling for the Fall 2017 semester. Successful candidates will have demonstrated:

• leadership in school and/or community activities, employment, or personal situation
• quality performance in extracurricular activities
• quality performance in volunteer activities
• high academic performance

To apply, candidates must fill out an application and write an essay and submit it before Friday, May 12.
