MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Inaugural WTNJ Cares for Kids Radiothon benefiting West Virginia University Children’s Hospital will hit the airwaves live on Tuesday, March 31.

WVU Children’s Hospital, Children’s Miracle Network, and WTNJ (105.9 FM) will host the radiothon at Beckley Buick GMC on Robert C. Byrd Drive and will be broadcasting live from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 31 and April 1.

Radio personalities will tell stories about children who have benefited from services provided by WVU Children’s Hospital. Patients are also scheduled to visit the radiothon to share their stories on air. In 2014, families from the Beckley area turned to WVU Children’s Hospital 20,141 times and found hope and healing.
