Behavioral medicine, psychiatry Grand Rounds discusses burnout in academic medicine

Erick Messias, MD, MPH, PhD, will present "Professional Burnout in Academic Medicine," at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26 as part of behavioral medicine and psychiatry Grand Rounds.

The lecture will be given in the Department of Behavioral Medicine & Psychiatry conference room at the Chestnut Ridge Center.

Messias, associate dean of faculty affairs at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science, has published more than 40 publications in scientific journals, several book chapters and has edited a volume on schizophrenia for psychiatrists. He has recieved numerous research and teaching awards.
