Blood drive set for Dec. 6

Every two seconds, someone needs blood, platelets, or plasma to survive. These patients depend on blood donors to roll up their sleeves and give the gift of life.

WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital is hosting a blood drive from 12-5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, in the atrium on the first floor of Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center. Donors will receive a free Pittsburgh Penguins beanie.

Appointments recommended. Walk-ins welcome. An appointment can be made by:
