Breast cancer topic of community program

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center and the WVU Health Sciences Center Eastern Campus will sponsor a community mini-medical school program in October on breast cancer.

The seminar will be held on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Health Sciences Center on the Berkeley Medical Center campus. Lori Tucker, D.O., obstetrician/gynecologist with WVU Medicine OB/GYN in Martinsburg, will give an update on breast cancer including prevention, detection and treatment.

Registration for the mini-medical school program begins at 6:30 p.m. The mini-medical program is being offered free to the public as a community service of WVU Medicine East and the WVU Health Sciences Center Eastern Campus.
