Bringing the heat

Janani Narumanchi, MD, WVU Medicine's vice-chair and medical director of pediatric outpatient and outreach services, threw out the first pitch at the Aug. 30 baseball game between the West Virginia Black Bears and State College Spikes at Monongalia County Ballpark.

Dr. Narumanchi joined other representatives from WVU Medicine Children’s who were in attendance to talk about health and wellness for the whole family. WVU Medicine Children’s provides specialty maternal, infant, and pediatric care for families in West Virginia and the surrounding region. The experts at WVU Medicine Children’s offer care to high-risk mothers, premature infants, and children with life-threatening conditions through adolescence to adulthood.
