Cancer Prevention and Control presents at AACR Health Disparities Meeting

Amy Allen, MA, MS, and Stephenie Kenney-Rea, EdD, recently presented two posters at the American Association for Cancer Research’s (AACR) 2019 Science of Cancer Health Disparities in Rural/Ethnic Minorities and the Medically Underserved meeting in San Francisco. Stephenie and Amy were able to share our lessons learned, explore best practices, and network with colleagues from around the world. Presentation topics include:

  1. Cancer Prevention and Control’s impact on the lung cancer screening infrastructure in West Virginia with the WV Lung Cancer Project, and
  2. The WVUCI Bridge Program’s multidisciplinary survivorship care model for stage 1-3 lung cancer patients.
