Cardiac reference unit relocates

On Monday, Dec. 11, the Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) cardiac reference unit will be re-locating to 5 West at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, occupying 12 beds. The front desk phone number will stay the same at ext. 71384.

This unit will admit floor and observation status chest pain patients, as well as those with atrial fibrillation and congestive heart failure.

The MH8 team manages this patient population in collaboration with the HVI cardiology gold and blue teams.
