CED Autism Services launches social skills group

The WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities is launching a new Social Skills Group for children with autism ages 8-11 in Morgantown and surrounding areas. This social skills group will focus on basic interaction skills and will provide an opportunity for children to form friendships.

If you feel that your child would be appropriate for this age group but is technically out of the range, please call Kaitlyn Martin at 304-293-4692. Possible group topics include appropriate greetings and conversations, taking turns, playing cooperative games, recognizing facial expressions, and giving compliments or cheering for a friend.
