Clinics with ancillary services will have special hours for Thanksgiving holiday weekend

The WVU Medicine Medical Center Pharmacy and Mountaineer Pharmacy will be closed Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 23) and Friday, Nov. 24.

Hours will change during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend for WVU Medicine pharmacies, along with many WVU Medicine clinics with ancillary services.

The hours for Nov. 24 and Nov. 25 are as follows:

FRIDAY, NOV. 24

Physician Office Center (POC)

Lab – 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Medical Center Pharmacy – closed

Mountaineer Pharmacy – closed

Discharge Pharmacy – 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (medication delivery to discharge patients only)

University Town Centre (UTC)

Lab – 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

Primary Care open

Cheat Lake Physicians

Lab – 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Primary Care open

WVU Medicine Fairmont

Family Medicine (one provider) – 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Lab – 7 a.m.-6 p.m.

Urgent Care – 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

X-ray – 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

SATURDAY, NOV. 25

Also, WVU Urgent Care Suncrest is open every day Thanksgiving weekend except Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 23).

WVU Student Health/WVU Urgent Care Evansdale is closed Nov. 23, 24, and 25. Also that week, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, it will have shorter hours, from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On Sunday, Nov. 26, the Medical Center Pharmacy is closed but the Mountaineer Pharmacy is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Discharge Pharmacy is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
