Today is WVU's inaugural Day of Giving

On Wednesday, Nov. 8, West Virginia University will hold its first Day of Giving, an online fundraising campaign to help forge a brighter future for WVU.

By making a donation on the Day of Giving, you can help raise dollars for the University’s greatest priorities and opportunities, as well as the greatest needs of your favorite school, college, or department, including all WVU Medicine departments and units. The WVU Cancer Institute has initiated a special matching campaign during the 24-hour event. Also, WVU Medicine Children’s Executive Vice President, J. Philip Saul, MD, will match every gift to WVU Medicine Children’s up to $2,500. You can help sick and injured kids and make your gift to WVU Medicine Children’s go further with this match.

During the Day of Giving, your support will help the work WVU does around the world, from medical research to helping rebuild communities. We hope you will consider making a gift.
