Deadline to complete the Wellness Rewards Program is Sunday

Employees and covered spouses who are currently enrolled in a WVU Medicine medical plan have the opportunity to participate in the 2018 Wellness Rewards Program by logging onto http://www.highmarkbcbswv.com/, completing the wellness profile, and indicating their tobacco status. The deadline to participate is Sunday, Sept. 30.

Employees can save money on either their 2019 medical insurance deductibles (for non-union employees only) or 2019 medical insurance premiums (for union employees only). Also, non-union employees can avoid the tobacco surcharge in 2019 by indicating their tobacco status or enrolling in a tobacco cessation program through Highmark.

Non-union employees: If you and your covered spouse do not complete the wellness profile to indicate tobacco status or indicate you are a tobacco user and do not enroll in a tobacco cessation program between August 1 and September 30, the tobacco surcharge will automatically be deducted from your paycheck beginning in January 2019.
