Class of 2019 graduate places at research competition

Dr. Kate Schessler, West Virginia University School of Dentistry 2019 alumna, presented at the 60th SCADA research competition in Vancouver, Canada. SCADA is the Student Competition for Advanced Dental Research.

She won third place out of 57 schools in the Public Health/Clinical Research Award ceremony.

Dr. Schessler worked with precepters Dr. Mike Hnat and Dr. Peter Ngan on her research, "Treatment of obstructive sleep apnea patients with oral appliances".
