Summer discounts available for WVU Medicine employees

WVU Medicine employees who purchase seasonal BOPARC pool passes will be able to use them for admission at both Krepps and Marilla Pools, as well as for slide privileges at Marilla. Keep in mind that children must be at least 45 inches tall to use the slide.

The discounted WVU Medicine Family Pass is $125 for a family of four or less. It is $15 for each additional family member. The WVU Medicine Child/Individual Pass is $65.

To purchase the discounted passes, you must have small, driver's license-sized photos of all participating family members. The passes will not be processed without pictures of each person. Bring your pictures and WVU Medicine ID to the BOPARC Administrative Office in Sabraton on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to receive the discounted rate.

Passes take about two weeks to process. Cash, check, or Visa/MasterCard/Discover are accepted.

Departments can coordinate this effort for interested employees. Just collect required photos, payments, and photocopies of employee ID Badges, and drop off everything to the BOPARC Administrative Office.

For more information, call 304-296-8356.

Marilla Pool will be open Memorial Day weekend and both pools open for the summer starting Saturday, June 2.

Also, employee discounts are available for Kennywood, Idlewild and Soak Zone, Hershey Park (use promo code 94336456), and the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium (use promo code boa). For questions about tickets, contact Robin Bunner, Kim Harper, or Wayne Park.

Thrill-seekers ride the Racer, one of the wooden rollercoasters at Kennywood.
