Dr. Hani Nazha Recognized for his Teaching at WVU School of Medicine Charleston Campus

Dr. Hani Nazha, assistant professor of medicine and psychiatry at the West Virginia University School of Medicine Charleston Campus was awarded the "Hammer" award for his dedication to WVU's educational mission.

Dr. Shawn Chillag, the chair of the WVU Charleston Campus department of internal medicine, created the award symbolically to recognize faculty members who use many tools in their teaching.

Dr. Nazha posted the award and thanked Dr. Chillag, his faculty peers and students for honor.

Dr. Nazha has distinguished himself through his teaching work for WVU School of Medicine, as well as his work as program director for the CAMC Internal Medicine/Psychiatry Residency, director of consult liaison service, and director of COAT (the Comprehensive Opioid Addiction Treatment Center of Charleston).
