Emergency Department construction underway; Cancer Center lot closes

On Monday, June 13, construction began on Ruby Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department (ED).

The first phase of construction entails new work at the existing exterior ambulance and walk-in/drop-off area on the north side of the ED. As a result, pedestrian and vehicular traffic patterns will be temporarily changed; however, access will be maintained for ambulances and walk-in patients.

Also, the parking lot adjacent to the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center has closed for an indefinite period of time due to construction. Parking will continue to be available in the adjacent parking garage for patients and visitors.
