Employee Appreciation Picnic set for today

“Lights, Camera, Action!” We’ll be celebrating you – our superstars – at this year’s WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals Employee Appreciation Picnic today (Thursday, July 21).

With music, games, and an array of scrumptious food from Mario’s Fishbowl, this party is destined to make you feel like the star-studded employee that you are.

The night-shift event will be held from 12:30-3:30 a.m., and the day-shift event will take place from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Both events will be held in front of the Blanchette Rockefeller Neurosciences Institute. Employees are reminded to bring their badge for entrance to the picnic and to participate in drawings for prizes.

During both the day- and night-shift event, we’ll roll out the red carpet for your grand entrance, and Double Barrel Dixie will provide music during the events. Both events will include a delicious menu

All of these departments will have a booth at the day-shift event, but many will also have a presence at the night-shift event.

WVU Medicine will run shuttle service from the WVU Medicine Corporate Office (ROC 2) to the picnic (and back) from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The picnic committee is also grateful for those members of management and staff who have signed up to volunteer at the event.
