Employees invited to donate supplies to Project Boredom Buster

One complaint that hospital patients often have is boredom. This summer, WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals junior volunteers are doing something about it. And you can help!

Junior volunteers are currently conducting Project Boredom Buster, a collection drive for items adult patients can use. Items being collected are:

  • Markers (10 count)
  • Sketch pads
  • Craft paintbrushes
  • Coloring books for adults
  • Word search puzzles
  • Emery boards
  • Colored pencils (16 count)
  • Sharpeners
  • Playing cards

Thanks to last year's donations, crayons are not needed. Also, items are preferred over monetary donations.

The collection runs through Saturday, Aug. 5. Collection boxes are located at Starbucks, Volunteer Services, and Rosenbaum Family House. There will also be a collection box available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Wednesday at the Ruby Cafeteria.
