EPA research biologist to lecture on cardiovascular responses to pollutants

The WVU Department of Physiology and Pharmacology will host Aimen K. Farraj, Ph.D., research biologist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He will present "Cardiovascular Responses after Short-term Exposure to Single Pollutants and Air Pollution Mixtures: Roles for Autonomic and Interactive Effects" at noon Thursday, April 16, in room 3067 of HSC North.

As a principal investigator/research biologist for EPA, Dr. Farraj serves in the Cardiopulmonary and Immunotoxicology Branch of the Environmental Public Health Division, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
