Festive fall fun at WVU Cheat Lake Physicians Friday

Clinic to offer family activities at open house

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Ghosts, ghouls and goblins will prowl the halls of WVU Healthcare's Cheat Lake Physicians clinic from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28. In addition to the opportunity for the public to tour the facility and meet its physicians, there will be safe, spook-tacular fun for the entire family.

Children are invited to come in costume for safe trick-or-treating through the clinic, and craft activities will be available, including puppet-making. Healthy snacks will also be available for all, and kids should remember to bring their treat bags.

The event is also a chance to meet WVU Cheat Lake Physicians’ newest healthcare providers, Family Medicine physician Shawn Long, M.D., and pediatrician Mitra Nazarinia, M.D.

WVU Cheat Lake Physicians offers a broad range of medical services to meet most family healthcare needs. In addition to excellent patient care from the clinic’s variety of primary care physicians, pediatricians, gynecologists, obstetricians and certified nurse midwives, Cheat Lake Physicians offers convenient on-site lab services, ultrasound, X-ray and bone density testing.

As a member of the WVU Healthcare family, the clinic also offers ready access to specialists and the most advanced medical technology available in the region.
