Former Emergency Medicine resident remembered in Real Mountains

Former WVU Emergency Medicine resident, Greg Seftick, M.D., who was killed in an avalanche while skiing in Grand Teton National Park in Jackson, Wyoming in April 2011, is remembered in a memoir written by his father, Dan Seftick.

"Real Mountains was written to preserve and build Greg’s legacy," Mr. Seftick posted on the book's website. "I want those who knew him to know him better and never forget him. I want people who didn’t know him to wish they had."

To receive a copy of Real Mountains, you may make a gift to one of four non-profits, including the School of Medicine's Dr. Gregory Seftick Wilderness Medicine Fund that promotes and enhances wilderness medicine education, research, outreach and care in honor of Gregory Seftick.
