Giving you a hand: Employees to receive gloves, food/drink voucher as token of appreciation

Because of you, WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals was recently ranked the sixth top academic medical center out of more than 200 participating organizations in a national study of major academic medical centers and community hospitals. WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals received Vizient’s 2016 Bernard A. Birnbaum, M.D., Quality Leadership Award.

This award shows the dedication of faculty and staff to high-quality, patient-centered care. As a small token of appreciation for your efforts, employees will be receiving a free pair of touchscreen winter gloves, as well as a $5 food/drink voucher.

The gloves will be distributed as follows:

Wednesday, Dec. 14

6:30-7 a.m. – Ruby lobby and shuttle entrance, and POC lobby
2:30-3 p.m. – Ruby lobby and shuttle entrance

Thursday, Dec. 15

6:30-7 a.m. – Ruby lobby
2:30-3 p.m. – Ruby lobby

Employees must show their badge to receive their gloves. Deliveries will be made to off-campus locations on a later date.

Employees will soon receive a $5 food/drink voucher for use at the Ruby Cafeteria, Ruby on the Run, and Starbucks. The voucher will be distributed at a later time.
