Golf scramble will benefit cystic fibrosis patients

The WVU Medicine Mountain State Cystic Fibrosis Center is holding a four-person golf scramble, called Par for A Cure, Saturday, Aug. 27, at 9 a.m. at Meadow Ponds Golf Course in Maidsville.

Proceeds from registration fees will benefit the the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Players choose their own teams. Participants can register individually or as a team; the deadline is Saturday, Aug. 13. Registration includes lunch and beverages.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has fueled dramatic improvements in cystic fibrosis (CF) research and care. Because of the Foundation, people with CF are living longer and healthier lives. The outlook for people with CF continues to improve year after year.
