Grill area closed, beverage area moved, during first phase of Ruby Cafeteria renovation

One area of the Ruby Cafeteria has closed and one has relocated as part of Phase One of a four-phase expansion and remodel.

Construction started on the grill area April 5 and the beverage area moved on Friday, April 7.

While the grill is closed, the entrée area is offering a limited number of the menu items from the grill, such as hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. Also, because the area within Ruby on the Run has been reduced, another grab-and-go area has been set up in the hallway outside the cafeteria.

The beverage cooler and soda machines have moved to another part of the cafeteria. Phase One will last eight or nine weeks, according to Kevin Currey, retail sales manager at Nutrition Services.
