CANCELED: HSC Day at the Ballpark

CANCELED: HSC Day at the Ballpark

The HSC Day at the Ballpark, Tuesday, April 14, has been canceled.

Matt Wells, Senior Associate Athletics Director/External Affairs, released the following message Wednesday, March 18:

Mountaineer Fans,

Thank you for your support of Mountaineer Baseball through the purchase of single game tickets for the 2020 season.

As you know, the Big 12 Conference announced on Friday, March 13 that all conference and non-conference competitions are cancelled through the end of the academic year due to the on-going developments related to COVID-19.

As a result, the Mountaineer Ticket Office will be issuing full refunds to all fans who purchased baseball single game and mini package tickets through the Mountaineer Ticket Office this week.

Fans who payed via credit card or check will not need to request a refund; credit card purchases will be automatically refunded to the card used for the original purchase within seven to 10 business days. Refunds for purchases made via check could take up to six weeks to process.

Fans who purchased baseball single game tickets with cash should email their information to the Mountaineer Ticket Office at WVUGAME@mail.wvu.edu. A Mountaineer Ticket Office representative will follow up with each customer to initiate the refund process.

While we are all disappointed we will not get to play ball again this season, please know that this decision was made with the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans in mind.

If you wish to continue supporting the Mountaineer Baseball program this spring, we encourage you to visit http://give.wvu.edu/fomb to learn more about the Friends of Mountaineer Baseball program.

We look forward to the Mountaineers returning to the diamond and seeing you at the ballpark in the spring of 2021!

Sincerely,

Matt Wells
Senior Associate Athletics Director/External Affairs
