Inpatient Pharmacy renovation to impact patient bathrooms, sinks this weekend

The J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy renovation project requires replacing the sanitary drain in the department. Work will begin this evening (Feb. 8).

As a result, the patient rooms located above the pharmacy, on floors five through nine, as well as 10 West, will be affected Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (Feb. 8-10) from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m.

During this time, in the affected rooms, the bathrooms and sinks will be taped off.

The House Supervisors Office, in conjunction with the unit managers, have designated a room per floor for use by those patients in the affected rooms.

The bathrooms in these rooms will be returned to service at the end of each shift and be operational during daylight hours.

Emergency contact numbers have been provided to the unit managers and house supervisors should any issues arise.
