WVU Medicine Information Technology has made its Clinical Help Desk permanent after a successful pilot.

The Clinical Help Desk was created to address specific needs of providers who work in Epic, based on their feedback.

The hours of operation are 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

The desk is intended for physicians, advance practice providers (APPs), or employees calling on behalf of physicians or APPs.

It is designed to help with workflow issues and problems that occur AFTER providers have logged into Epic.

To reach the Clinical Help Desk, call 304-598-HELP (4357) and press 2. Press 1 or remain on the line to reach the Technical Help Desk.

Please note that all password/login issues should go to IT’s Technical Help Desk. The Clinical Help Desk does NOT have ability to assist with password resets.
