IV tubing to be replaced throughout Ruby Memorial

WVU Medicine will convert its intravenous (IV) tubing to new, neutral valve technology tubing throughout Ruby Memorial Hospital over a two-week period.

From Oct. 26 through Oct. 31, gravity tubing in Ruby Memorial will be replaced.

From Nov. 1 through Nov. 7, Braun IV pump tubing will be replaced.

Vendor nurse educators will be available during this time and will go from unit to unit for hands-on education. Staff members are encouraged to attend a training session.
