Knox named lifetime achiever and participates in international study

Sarah Stuart Knox, PhD, F.A.C.E., was recently named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles. Dr. Knox celebrates many years of experience in her professional network and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field.

As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process. Knox was also selected as one of two American epidemiologists on the International Advisory Board of the German Cohort Study, a 200,000 person longitudinal study of health in Germany. She will attend a September meeting to evaluate their progress and advise about further funding of the next phase of the study.
