Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program is recuiting graduate students

Recruitment for Graduate Students from Health and related disciplines

The LEND Program at the WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities is recruiting graduate students from health and related disciplines for graduate assistantships starting in Fall, 2016. The mission of the LEND Program is to prepare health professionals to serve children and youth with disabilities and the families that care for them. The focus is to train students by using mentors from their fields of study and focusing on family-centered care, teamwork and cultural sensitivity. Selected students may be awarded a tuition waiver and stipend. The program is also looking for family members of a person with a disability and disability self-advocates. Applications are due by March 11, 2016. To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
