Lecture series highlights Health Sciences LGBTQ Healthcare Advocacy and Inclusion Week

SHAPE (Student Healthcare Alliance for Promoting Equality), along with the WVU Departments of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics and the Divisions of Internal Medicine and Plastic Surgery, are sponsoring a week-long lecture series in the Health Sciences Center from Oct. 23-27. The lectures focuse on LGBTQ health.

The goal of this event is to promote advocacy and inclusion for LGBTQ patients throughout WVU Medicine. All lectures are open to WVU students, faculty, and staff, and the surrounding community.
