WVU Cancer Institute researcher Linda Vona-Davis, Ph.D., has been selected to lead the Biomedical Masters of Science in Health Sciences graduate program.

The new leadership position was created by Laura Gibson, Ph.D., senior associate vice president for Research and Graduate Education, as part of an initiative to expand the graduate program. Dr. Davis will provide leadership for students who desire to enhance their competitiveness for entry into advanced degrees in biomedical and public health disciplines.

“This new position will play a key role in meeting the academic needs of our students while supporting the mission of the Health Sciences Center,” Davis said.

Davis is an associate member of the WVU Cancer Institute Breast Cancer Research Program and an adjunct professor in the WVU Medicine Department of Surgery.
