Local tax help available at Health Sciences

County assessors can answer questions, sell dog tags

The Monongalia County Assessor’s Office will visit the Health Sciences Center Wednesday and Thursday to assist county residents with forms and questions related to county taxes.

Deputy assessors will be on duty in the Pylons Lobby from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 10) and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 11.)

Taxpayers can turn in the assessment returns that were mailed to their homes; purchase dog tags; and get answers to questions about assessment and taxes.
