May 11 and May 12 are last days to pick up flowers or ferns from Mother's Day sale

Flowers and ferns from the Mother's Day sale are scheduled to be available for pick-up on Friday, May 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cancer Center parking lot and on Saturday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Golden Corral Restaurant parking lot on Monongahela Boulevard. A limited number of cash-and-carry plants will be available on those dates.

The flower and fern sale benefits the Cancer Center’s Comfort Fund, which helps patients with various areas of need associated with cancer treatment, including medication costs, lodging, transportation, and other supportive and social services.

Giant ferns cost $25 each and hanging baskets are $20 each.
