Monongalia County Relay for Life

Event Location: Westwood Middle School Track

The WVU Cancer Institute and WBOY are the presenting sponsors of this year's Monongalia County Relay for Life. The event will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, June 9, and conclude at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at Westwood Middle School in Morgantown.

Proceeds go to the American Cancer Society to provide cancer research funding, resources, and transportion for cancer patients and their families.

WVU Cancer Institute Director Richard Goldberg, MD, and Hannah Hazard-Jenkins, MD, are planning a “white coat lap” at 7 p.m. Friday, June 9. Faculty and members of the medical team who own a white coat are encouraged to participate. Please email Donna Tamasco if you are interested in participating.
