MPH graduate (2012) Stephanie Lusk, RN served as an MPH Student Ambassador and completed her internship with preceptor Michael Hendryx, PhD. Her faculty advisor was Michael McCawley, PhD. A Wyoming County, WV native, Stephanie examined the effects of mountaintop mining removal on the health of WV residents. An accomplished writer, she also earned recognition for high  academic achievement and has accepted a position with the Greenbrier County Health Department.
Roselinda Junkin, MPH (2012) was awarded honors for academic excellence. Rosie completed her culminating experience in an internship at Ruby Memorial Hospital, precepted by Erin Dunmire, Customer Service Director. Her project examined quality initiatives and outcomes, with analysis of the Affordable Care Act implications for hospitals. Her work received outstanding reviews from Faculty Advisor Geri Dino, PhD, as well as the hospital’s administrative staff. She is completing a second tier of interviews for employment with WVU Healthcare within the Center for Educational Organization and Development.
