New corridor construction will affect patient transport on Level 3 of the southeast tower

Construction of a new corridor door between the patient transport elevators and the CVICU on Level 3 of the southeast tower will begin on Monday, Feb. 19, at 6 a.m. and will be completed by Saturday, Feb. 24, at 5 p.m.

During this time, patients being transported to CVICU or out of CVICU will be detoured through 5SE using the far back elevator in POD C (39). All other transports in the southeast tower can still use the transport elevator.

Signage will be posted to inform staff of the temporary transport path.
