New restaurant coming to the Market@WVU

Faculty, staff, and students will soon have a new food option at the WVU Health Sciences Center (HSC).

The Market@WVU, the new food service area at the HSC, will be changing out EiO & the Hive and opening Panini Pete’s after Thanksgiving. The change is being made due to feedback from customers who are wanting an extended menu featuring salads, sandwiches, and soups.

“The menu will offer a wider range of affordable options, while also addressing the increasing demand for salads,” said Dan Simpson, managing partner with Fresh Hospitality.

Panini Pete’s will also feature fresh coffee and juices. The changeover process will start the week Nov. 21 and be complete by the time faculty, staff, and students return from Thanksgiving break.

With the addition of Panini Pete’s, the current restaurants in the Market@WVU, Hugh Baby’s BBQ & Burgers and Little Donkey, will be adding breakfast items to their menus, giving customers multiple options for every meal of the day.
